The Young Talent Award is an incentive award for young talent in the camping sector. That talent is motivated and possesses vision, creativity and the ability to innovate. Candidates can be nominated or can nominate themselves. An independent jury selects the Young Talent of the Year in the Netherlands and abroad from among those candidates. Who is responsible for your personal data?
ANWB Reizen B.V., referred to here as ANWB, is responsible for processing personal data relating to your nomination for the Young Talent Award. ANWB has its registered office at Wassenaarseweg 220, 2596 EC, The Hague, The Netherlands.
What personal data do we process and for what purpose?
From time to time, ANWB organises contests for which you can send in a contribution or cast a vote, in this case the Young Talent Award. If you send in a contribution, it will be rated by ANWB and by a jury appointed by ANWB, comprising representatives from the sector. The ANWB will process some of your personal data and that of your nominated candidate so that the candidate can take part in the contest. This is generally your name, email address and telephone number and the first name and surname of your nominated candidate. We use this data for purposes such as confirming participation or sending information on the results of the contest. We might also process your nomination anonymously in a report.
With whom do we share your personal data?
For the purposes of this contest ANWB will share your cover letter and the name and age of the nominated candidate with the jury members from Jong RECRON and others. They will choose a winner in consultation with ANWB.
How is your personal data protected?
We handle personal data with the utmost care. We have suitable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data against loss or unlawful use. These include a sound policy for information security, training for our employees, secure internet servers and physical security of areas where personal data is stored.
How long do we retain your data?
We retain your personal data or that of your nominated candidate until no later than one month after the presentation of the award. Anonymised data might be retained for a longer period for reporting purposes. However, this data cannot be traced back to you.
What rights do you have with respect to your personal data?
We consider it important for you to know that you have certain privacy rights. For instance, you can request to view your data, or to have it corrected, transferred or removed. You can find more information about your privacy rights in the privacy statement on the ANWB website.
